This Privacy Policy explains how HPanel handles information related to licensing, downloads, and support. HPanel is installed and operated on customer-managed infrastructure; hosted content remains under customer control.

Information We Collect

We collect the minimum information required to operate licensing, deliver software updates, and provide support.

Account information: name, email address, company (if provided).
Billing references: invoice identifiers and payment status metadata. We do not store full payment card numbers.
Licensing telemetry: server public IP, machine identifier, license key, activation timestamps, and verification timestamps.
Support communications: messages, attachments, and logs you submit to troubleshoot issues.

How We Use Information

License verification: validate license status, binding, and eligibility.
Software updates: deliver releases, security patches, and compatibility fixes.
Abuse prevention: detect automated abuse, brute-force attempts, and license misuse.
Fraud detection: identify payment fraud and account compromise signals.
Customer support: respond to requests and reproduce reported issues.
Service reliability: monitor licensing availability and verification health.

Server Data & Hosting Content

Customer infrastructure: HPanel runs on systems you control (VPS, dedicated, cloud instances).
No content access by default: we do not access hosted website content by default.
Security features: HPanel does not scan user data unless a security feature is enabled by the server administrator (for example malware scanning). When enabled, scanning occurs on the customer server and is controlled by the administrator.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data.
We share limited information with payment processors or infrastructure providers only when required to provide billing, downloads, or licensing availability.
We do not authorize third parties to use shared data for their own marketing purposes.

Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as necessary for licensing, support, security, and compliance obligations.
Deletion requests are supported where legally permitted and where deletion does not conflict with anti-fraud, accounting, or legal requirements.

Security Measures

HTTPS enforced for web properties and licensing endpoints.
Access control to internal systems handling licensing and support.
Secure storage with least-privilege principles for operational data.
Audit logging for administrative access to sensitive systems.

User Rights

Access: request a copy of applicable personal information we hold.
Correction: request corrections to inaccurate information.
