HPanel is designed to run on modern Ubuntu LTS servers. Below are the minimum and recommended specifications.
Operating System
- Supported: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS
- Architecture: x86_64 (AMD64)
- The server must be a fresh installation with no other control panels
Hardware Requirements

Network Requirements
- A public IPv4 address
- Ports 80, 443, 22 open (HTTP, HTTPS, SSH)
- Ports 2052–2059 open (HPanel access ports)
- Outbound HTTPS access (for license verification and updates)
- Ports 25, 587, 993, 110 for email services

HPanel works on any VPS or dedicated server that meets the above requirements, including:
- Hetzner Cloud & Dedicated
- DigitalOcean
- Vultr
- Linode (Akamai)
- OVH / OVHcloud
- AWS EC2
- Any bare-metal provider
